More Plans and Ideas
Eco Friendly Mango + Coconut and Watermelon Shampoo Bars. |
My plans for my business this year are to get out in the community more and to move towards more natural ingredients. I already use mostly natural ingredients in all of my soaps and a lot of my products. However, I have used safe, phthalate and paraben free fragrances in my products as well. I don't believe they're harmful, however, I do feel the move towards essential oils, floral waters, and infused herbal oils instead. I will still have some products with fragrance oils for a while, such as the beautiful and fragrant shampoo bars in the picture above. There are some naturally derived and man-made ingredients I will continue to use, but rest assured they are very safe and sometimes necessary, as with a preservative. Overall, though, the emphasis I wish for is on nature and plants.

All-natural plum soap I made last year with plums from my backyard. Plants are amazing. |
In addition to moving my products to an "all-natural" direction, I want to use this blog to show you all how I make my soap and other products, as well as share about my products and other things I am up to. I love reading blogs and I feel it is a wonderful way to connect with others. Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest are great too, but I think blogs are so helpful to get to know a business and the person or people behind it. Plus, I can share so much more information. I can show step by step how soap is made, I can talk more in depth about ingredients and other topics. I have lots of plans and ideas.
I would love to see what you all think about this move to a more natural product line, let me know in the comments :)
Thank you for reading,
Ginny
